Quark XPress: It is necessary to supply a layout file, all images and fonts included. All colours of internal elements of your ad page should be determined by the CMYK color model. Include all fonts and graphics with file. 2.2. Adobe Illustrator: You are required to supply a layout file and all fonts used in the ad. If any elements of the ad page are not imported into the layout file they must be presented separately. You may transform all fonts in curves. The quantity of nodes (dots) for vector elements should not exceed 1024. A resulting output resolution for vector elements of 2540 dpi should be set (determined). (In Adobe Illustrator function Attributes - >Output). 2.3. Color and Halftones (GrayScale): halftones used in the ad page layout should be in TIFF or EPS formats. Effective resolution (given the scaling in the layout file) should be at least 300 dpi. Colour model - CMYK. You cannot use internal algorithms of halftones compression. 2.4. Black & White one-bit halftones (Bitmap): Black & White images used in the ad page layout should be made in TIFF or EPS formats. Effective resolution (given the scaling in the layout file) should be at least 800 dpi. You may not use internal algorithms of halftones compression. It is completely inadmissible to submit an ad page in form of a unified halftone. In this case we will not be liable for the quality of contrast stipples of your ad such as text, heading (titles), or logo. 3.
